Great question Matthew, I like to listen to audio books as I commute, this isn’t in depth but it does help me decide which books I then want to buy and read with a highlighter in hand.

Good, solid advice from Melvin! His encouragement to pursue this deepening of knowledge in discussion with the school board (at least some forms of further education) is very appropriate. I do wonder how those of us without the discipline to get up early will manage to read in our parallel reading books–how can we build the needed discipline to get up early to do this?
