The full title of this paper describes its purpose: “Reaching Higher Levels of Thought: Examples of Test Items/Questions Based on the Taxonomy of Educational Objectives in the Cognitive Domain, Grades 7-12.” In 35 pages rich with example questions of a number of test types, the authors apply educational theory such as Bloom’s taxonomy and the work of Norris Sanders.
