Heritage: Owning Reality to Seize Opportunity

It’s no secret. Every local church community has its problems. Every Christian movement, conservative Anabaptism included, has its blind spots and inconsistencies. It is easy to respond with helpless hand-wringing or reactionary criticism. But that leaves us powerless to seize the opportunites of the future. How do we take grateful ownership of what we have received – problems included – as the gift that it truly is?
