Edsel discusses the revisions of Anabaptist history, and the proper place of our ideological commitments in historiography. Edsel examines the role of Schleitheim Confession in defining Swiss Brethren Anabaptism. In addition, he addresses the way the principles of Anabaptism apply to studying the history of the world outside Anabaptism.
