Why Teach Writing?

Writing is thinking – in a world of google and endless technology it is of upmost importance that your students learn to think. Join Andrew as he explores the world of writing and how it offers much more beyond the material you produce. Through writing you are invited to analyze a topic, sort through your thoughts for best description, and build your creative abilities. In this talk you will be offered insight into how writing helps to equip your students both in their school experience but also beyond as they enter the workplace and church community. When a students work consists primarily of true and false and multiple choose questions, they began to believe that is what life is made up of. Writing helps prepares your student for life!
