Lesson 4: Writing Poetry without Rhyme or Rhythm

In this lesson, students learn about alliteration and colorful words in poetry. Students are introduced to poetry that doesn’t have a strong rhythm or rhyme scheme. Students write a poem about an animal or insect using colorful words and some alliteration.
