Thank you again, Jonas, for the idea of deliberate practicing of listening skills. I started doing it last week and the students really responded — they loved the challenge. We started with only three and then four in a series and with a bit of time I expect we can add a fifth one. And, interestingly, after only the second day, I felt a subtle difference when I gave a set of book work related instructions. It was as if they were mentally making notes of what I was saying.
