I agree with the research on break. I don’t like it either. I went back to that policy this year simply because staying after school seemed to get fairly routine last year. However my standard for having students stay was fairly subjective, and not necessarily a hard-line policy.
By “3 incomplete” do you mean “3 accumulated incomplete assignments” or just “3 total assignments that are handed in late”? Also, would each additional incomplete assignment (i.e. 4 incomplete, 5 incomplete) result in another detention?
