Does anybody know of any good, quality gradebook/school management systems that work well for Mennonites schools and have a one-time sign up fee rather than monthly/annual fees? The two main ones I know about are ThinkWave and Sycamore Education. I would be interested in hearing more about those and also if you know of a one-time fee option system. Thanks!
Our school did a trial of Sycamore a year or so ago, and found it difficult to use. I know at least one Mennonite school that uses Sycamore and says good things about it, but it didn’t work for us. 🙁
I used Thinkwave myself last year. It’s free if teachers use it individually, but that method could be a bit awkward. We’re using iGradeplus this year. They quoted us $90 for the year. I really like the simplicity of the system, as well as the easy to use, yet detailed, report creation tool.
