Children’s Literature, Part I

Stories: they can redirect young minds into paths of virtue and study. Ed discusses the use of stories to engage students, and offers techniques for enhancing the classroom reading experience. Attendees at this workshop offered examples and reviews of children’s stories. In part one of this workshop series, Ed urges a love for good books and literature. He discusses practical issues such as determining the reading level of a book as well as philosophical issues such as discerning the agenda of an author.
