Can the challenges in conservative Anabaptism be solved by learning to think better? In a class discussion, Steven Brubaker urges Anabaptist teachers not to view their primary task as raising great thinkers. We are called to live with our whole beings devoted to the love of God, and this is the end to which we call others. Thinking, says Steven, is an integral component of such a life, but it is not the aim in itself.
